Hey there! Happy Friday to you and you and you and you! How are you today? Today didn’t start off to the greatest of starts, but knock on wood it’ll improve. How did it not start off well? Well, first, I overslept which is always not a good start. Then I couldn’t find the shirt I wanted to wear and had to figure out a new outfit which once on, didn’t feel right. Oh well, it got worn!
I grabbed some boxes to take to the house we closed on yesterday (Yep! We did it! Frank wrote about it here.) and hustled to work. When I got here, I remembered that I was supposed to park in a different lot, so I found a spot and turned my car off. Of course because I was in a hurry, my parking job was terrible (all crooked and off to one side) so I got back in to correct that.
But it wouldn’t start. It wouldn’t do ANYTHING!! Boo. Oh well, at least I was already at work. The road service people came and the really nice guy fixed it for me. (We can call him Ryan if you want, that was his name.) It was just a dead battery. Could have been worse! (Knock on wood, it doesn’t get worse, you know?) Thank you Momma for my roadside service!
I was just thankful I wasn’t stuck on the side of the road in a bad storm. I was chatting with Ryan and he said that yesterday was slow, but when there’s a storm there’s more people. It seems that it doesn’t just seem like it, there are a lot more calls. I suppose that makes sense?
I gave Ryan my lunch cash though to say thank you for coming to fix my car so I ate some food I had here at the office. Allow me to share this bit of deliciousness with you!
That’s a gluten free waffle with peanut butter and smushed raspberries on top instead of jam. Yes it looks a lot like this, but why mess with something awesome? When the fruit is in season…
So how was your day? Was your lunch yummy?I have to run and finish some things so this weekend can be all about the house and Momma. Do you have any big plans? I think we’re going to lunch and then shopping. I shouldn’t really buy anything though, I did just buy a house.
