Really difficult emails and doing what’s right for me

Earlier today I sent a really difficult email. It’s been a long time coming, but after last week’s borderline panic attack and tears of happiness and relief when my co-worker told me he’d take my shift, I had to send it.

I told my pool bosses that I wouldn’t be back on Saturdays after the New Year other than to fill in when I can.

It was hard because part of me isn’t ready to be done, but I have to at least take a break. I have a lot going on and my brother is coming home.

Frank asked what I’m going to do instead on weekends we don’t have plans. He knows damn well I’m not  good at doing nothing…well I’m going to spend the pool time in my craft room and see what I can turn Court is Crafty into.

Right now I’m working on this

And if I get enough done maybe I’ll do a craft show.

Regardless, I clearly need a break.

About Court

I spend a lot of time on the pool deck and making treats in my kitchen amongst other things.

  1. Good for you. Everyone needs a break!

  2. I know at least three people who would LOVE your company on Saturdays, if you are free. 😉

  3. Pingback: One day in, no goals yet | baking in my bathing suit
