I’m back at it, listing out the things from the past week that made me smile. It’s important to remember the things that are good to help ease the sting of the bad. (If you ask me, and since you’re reading my blog, it’s almost like you did ask.)
What can I say? Some weeks are better than others and I’d like to have reminders of the good for when it’s not so good. I re read that statement and it makes me feel like I’m implying that life isn’t good. It is. (Knockonwood!) I just want to make sure I’m documenting the moments that shine for me.
Does it make anyone else nervous for a weird reason that there are only like 6 weeks left in 2013?
In no particular order:
- Manic like productivity
- Art work from Em and hugs from Em and Little One
- Orange Juice and hot tea with honey
- MsMS as a workout buddy
- Cool showers when I’m boiling
- Quick Quiche from left overs
- Friends who know just what to say
- Texts from swim parents cancelling lessons when the very last thing I want to do is put on a bathing suit.
- Tissues. Lots of tissues
I didn’t put much effort into this week’s outfit. It was mostly all I could do to shower and get dressed.
Doing Things Differently recap:
Earlier bed time: I was so fricken exhausted all week this wasn’t difficult
Activity: Yoga: 1 Swim: 1 Run: 1/2
It’s about half of what I wanted to do, but I felt like crap til Saturday
General feeling of overall accomplishment: As much as I could feeling like doodie. I was spacy, felt like barfing half of the time and wasn’t too good at finding good things to write about to my friends. Who wants snail mail from a Sick Sally?
