I’m back at it, listing out the things from the past week that made me smile. It’s important to remember the things that are good to help ease the sting of the bad. (If you ask me, and since you’re reading my blog, it’s almost like you did ask.)
What can I say? Some weeks are better than others and I’d like to have reminders of the good for when it’s not so good. I re read that statement and it makes me feel like I’m implying that life isn’t good. It is. (Knockonwood!) I just want to make sure I’m documenting the moments that shine for me.
In no particular order:
- Good first Saturday for lessons
- Quiet days at work
- Laughing with and sometimes at that guy I Like
- A cold bedroom
- A run I didn’t hate
- Pizza and laundry with Sue
- Christmas shopping started
- Thanksgiving travel plans sorted out
- Lunch dates
And my outfits from last week will be posted later. I’m not in the mood to edit photos.
Doing Things Differently recap:
Earlier bed time: Tried like hell, managed a few, but sometimes I’m just not tired.
Activity: Yoga: 1 Swim: 1 Run: 1
It’s about half of what I wanted to do.
General feeling of overall accomplishment: Better than last week. A few postcards written and sent, I’ve slacked on the Spanish, but reading and crocheting have been good.
It’s a start.
And I can’t always do it all.
