I got a Google alert yesterday to send our rent check so I know that October has arrived. (Somewhat unrelated: Does anyone else use Google to run their lives?) Pumpkin coffee also showed up in the kitchen at work.
That means that September is over which I’m okay with for now. It was reasonably kind to me and for that I am thankful. Commitments were fulfilled, I still have hair on my head, and at the end of the day I can breath and feel like I’m in a pretty good place. (Knock on wood no one sees it as a challenge! FINGERS CROSSED!)
And this is the view from my office. I don’t have a big office, but I have a heck of a view.
Speaking of work, I managed to feel put together almost every work day this month and when I didn’t one day, I had some emergency jewelry to make up for it. You can see my outfits recapped in my Things that Made Me Smile posts. (Weeks 36-39) I’m going to try and keep it up too.
I didn’t get any pumpkin donuts, but that’s okay. I went gluten free instead. I will have to make some gf pumpkin stuff and share it if it turns out tasty.
What do I want October to look like? I’m not really sure. I’m going to stick to the gluten free stuff because I do feel better not eating it. I think I’ll get back on the tread mill as soon as my finger is a little better and put some distance in at the pool. (Let’s establish tentative goals of 15 miles on the tread mill and 7,500 yards in the pool.)
I do need to start collecting guest posts for later this month. I’ll be out of town Oct 23-26. I have a few people who are already in for it. If you’ve already said you would, I’m hoping you’re still interested. If not, just let me know when I send you the email later this week. If you want to guest post and haven’t already, let me know!
I also have some crafting projects that need to get done as soon as possible so I’ll add that to October’s list.
I think that’s enough though, no reason to go nuts, right? What’s on your list of things to get done?
