Why hello there! I’m quite flipping excited that Friday is here. Are you? How are you?What’s in your mug/cup today? I wasn’t feeling Kahlua today so I went with coconut mocha with hot chocolate. It’s delicious. I wouldn’t steer you wrong!
Although typically it means that I get a break, not this weekend. I’m teaching tomorrow and then have to show the apartment that’s for rent upstairs. Sunday is this Wounded Warrior Run and then brunch.
Maybe a nap. That would be delightful.

So I was reading some articles the other night when I was having trouble sleeping about gluten intolerance and weight gain. A lot of the symptoms of gluten intolerance apply to me and with my other allergies, it wouldn’t necessarily be a stretch that I have issues with that protein too. I’m not saying I eat perfectly, but with recent weight gain, I have to consider that something else is going on. I don’t eat like a total jerk and I’m fairly active so I’m looking at my options.
Frank being the super awesome guy I married said he’s on board with whatever changes I want to make as long as it’s not eating just salad. He doesn’t like leaves. I sent him this link of recipes to start with and we’ll see how it goes.
What can it hurt to greatly reduce or even eliminate it from my foods? I’ve read and heard of too many people doing so and feeling great afterwards to discount it without giving it a good shot. I figure that if after 30 days I see no change then I’ll figure something else out.
