Thursday Three – Pins twists on childhood favorites

Because it’s been so damn hot and I’ve otherwise been a crazy busy person lately, I haven’t been spending much time playing in the kitchen. Too bad, so sad. What can I say? Life happens.

That said, I do spend some time each night pinning to my Pinterest boards for future use. (I’m not obsessed, it’s calming.)

I’m not going to lie, it’s been stressful in these parts lately. While I don’t feel more stressed than normal, I know I am because yesterday I had two psychic twinkles out of the blue that were so dead on it was eerie. If only I could use this “power” for good!

When life gets like this, I have a few tried and true things to recenter myself. Time with friends, familiar foods, and no mandatory, have to be there plans are usually the best way to shake it. Thanks to Pinterest, I’ve pinned quite a few twists on childhood favorites that I think I’ll try this weekend.

Nutella No Bake Cookies (from Big Flavors from a Tiny Kitchen)

Breakfast Pizza (from Fake Ginger)
(That might get eaten for dinner.)

Dirty Shirley (from Grey Goose)

I’ll let you know how it goes. What twists on childhood favorites have you seen? What pins have you seen lately that you’d love to make? Have you seen any you’d like me to try?

Images from today are from the pins themselves.

About Court

I spend a lot of time on the pool deck and making treats in my kitchen amongst other things.
