June’s Pinspiration – Time (Review)

If you joined us for June’s Pinspiration, I’d love to know how it went! Did you get off track? Did you forget about it?

Truth be told, although I’m giving myself a passing grade, it would only be about a C+ because the second part of the month I just got plain worn out and tired. (Except for last weekend. I traded projects for time with that guy I Like and it was totally worth it.)

Yes there were times of procrastination, but it was because either something more pressing came up, or I was beyond tired and not sure I could do something to the level I thought it needed to be done at.

I do find myself being more mindful of time in general – aware of how long things actually take me, how much time I actually have to get something done, appreciating moments with those that I love, using 5 minutes of “found time” to jot a note to a friend. I’ve started thinking about how much my time is worth and although I still struggle to attach an actual dollar amount unless forced (like giving a parent a price for me to come to their pools and teach their kids there) I’ve been better at accepting that my time IS worth money and although I’m free to donate it should I choose, I can also accept payment for it.

Over all it was an interesting experience, being mindful of Time and how it plays into my life. I think I’ll continue to be aware of it and see if I can continue to limit my procrastination.

One Response to June’s Pinspiration – Time (Review)

  1. Sue says:

I did a little better not putting off the gym (in other words, I went more).

I didn’t do so great on food choices, but I’ll get better.
