While not everyone commented on yesterday’s post with their thoughts or questions (fraidy cats ;)) I really appreciate that you reached out to me. I may or may not write more about why I feel the need to be so productive at a later date.
Sometimes the posts I write just flow from my fingertips as if they were writing themselves and that is truly wonderful. Other times, they require a lot of work to figure out just how to organize my thoughts into the message I’m trying to convey. Some of them never seem to gel.
I was working on a post last night and it just didn’t want to come together. I had about the same luck with it today so I guess it just doesn’t want to get written right now. That’s alright, I can save it for when it wants to get written.
Seeing that I want to post every day until I can’t anymore or the end of the year, what’s a girl to do when the post she wants to write just won’t come together?
Personally, I move on to another post, find a picture or recipe to share, or just flat out tell you that I’ve got nothing.
Sometimes I go to Pinterest, sometimes I read some other blog posts, sometimes I look through other drafts to see if something catches my eye. Usually something kicks me into a post.
Nothing seemed to kick me into an actual post today, but I do have a question for you today:
I want to post more recipes for you gals and guys. What day of the week is best to see one so you can make sure you get the ingredients to try it? (You can leave an answer in the comment below.)
Why am I writing this basically non-post today? I like to keep it real around here. I want you to know that I don’t always have it in me for something real, sometimes my creativity fails me, I don’t always have it together and sometimes, I just phone it in til I get It back.
Don’t forget! Tomorrow is Talentod’s Day. Celebrate love in some way, shape, or form. Your love of sushi? Shoes? Your family and friends? Blogging? I don’t care what you love. Celebrate it.
