Zipzipziiipp!

That’s the sunburn I got Wednesday while standing in the pool reading. It took like 40 min tops to do this through 50 SPF. I know, that’s talent.

Because of the burn, Frank and I decided to do something different today that didn’t involve the pool or beach. We had seen an adventure course with zip line earlier this week so we decided to check it out.

I’ve wanted to check out something like this for awhile and the price seemed reasonable (about $25 each including gear) so why not? Zoomair here we come!

Oh gosh, super fun time! There were a couple of parts I wasn’t sure I would finish, but I did it!

The parts I didn’t like involved “tight rope wire” or “disks suspended 30 feet in the air”  like obstacles. The rest were pretty easy.

The part I liked the best was hands down the zip line. Once you trusted your gear and didn’t slow too soon, it was great fun. (If you slow down too soon you are left using upper body strength to pull yourself to the end of the wire. Not super fun.)

This part was awesome too.

The End!

I’d totally do it again for a decent price. Have you done anything like this before?

Well, Frank and you and C and I will have to do this up in Lake George this summer as a double date. It would be so much fun.
Put aloe on that burn, baby. If you can find aloe leaves from a plant, just crack them open and rub that aloe (or better yet, have Frank do it) all over your back.
    love you,
