Thursday Three – Pins and Questions

So I didn’t think I was going to be able to come up with a post for today because, well, I seem to be mentally tapped out at the moment. Alas, I was flipping through Pinterest and was inspired. Seems it’s good for that!

I go through spurts when I’m all into Pinterest and then bits when I barely look at it for more than reference. (We’ve also previously talked about what Pinterest is for you if you’d like to go back and look.)

Here are three of my recent pins that really resonated with me:

These pins made me think and thinking lead to questions. My three questions are:

  1. What do you know that you think I don’t know?
  2. When you feel like quitting something hard, what brings you back to trying?
  3. What have you always wanted to do, but haven’t yet done?

I’ll answer tomorrow!

Also just for fun! Let’s do a meet an greet. It’s simple if the person above you on the comments has a blog, click over, leave a comment, say hello and tell them I sent you (if you’d like. I’m fairly certian they have no idea who I am so.

You can start with one of the fun people from the last Thursday Three. Here are their links again if you need them.

That’s all. I’m going to go day dream about the banana bread that’s waiting to be made in my kitchen.

About Court

I spend a lot of time on the pool deck and making treats in my kitchen amongst other things.

  1. Sue says:

I know that Bill Nye spoke at Union College last week.

What brings me back to trying depends on the thing itself, and how badly I want whatever I was going for. Said another way – why did I want to quit in the first place?

I want to quit my job and start a new career that makes me happy. I haven’t because I haven’t found a box big enough to live in with all of my shoes.

  2. 1) I know how many licks it takes to the center of a tootsie roll pop.
    Seriously… now

    1) I know the names of all the Cranial Nerves and what they help our bodies do.

    2) What brings me back from the brink of quitting… Spite. The fact that I know someone somewhere expects me to fail.. and I just can’t let that happen.

    3) I’ve always wanted to sing in a rock band.
