Coffee Date

282527_933729346902_7558643_nI found this neat blog called Rags to Stitches through a give away and I’m pretty glad that I did. One of the features that I like is her Coffee Dates so I thought I’d try it out today. I don’t know if this will be a weekly thing because how could I give up my hai-kus? But if you like it, I’ll do more. I might even explore a vlog entry!

Why do this? One of the things I love most about blogging has been the community aspect of it. I love connecting with others and am always down for meeting other bloggers. (If you’re new here, my husband and I met through blogging.) This is another great way to connect with others, maybe make a few new Net Friends and maybe learn something new about each other. I think it goes without saying that I’m incredibly thankful for the friends that blogging has brought to my life.

Today, Alissa is asking If we were having coffee, what would you tell me?

If I was meeting Alissa for coffee, first I’d say it’s nice to meet her and tell her that although it sounds a little creepy, I feel like I was supposed to meet someone like me who loves the community of blogging, doesn’t like working out, and dislikes drinking water.  I would tell her that I’m excited to try a Hula Fit (hula hoop workout class!) with my friend Kathy and that I expect it’ll go about as well as pole dancing class did, but that fitness isn’t about just results, I’m learning it’s about doing something fun too.

Who knew?

I’d also tell her that she’s very brave to do a video and I’ll have to think about that!

So I turn the question to you – If we were having coffee (tea, sushi, whatever), what would you tell me?

If we were having sushi together I would tell you:

    “Don’t order the tuna.”

  2. If we were out having coffee, sushi, etc… I’d tell you.

To take pictures of the Hula Hoop Workout class…because I’m intrigued…

And, how awesome it is that you met your guy blogging…

We’d never have coffee, because I don’t drink coffee. We have sushi all the time, and I think you’d know what I’d tell you most days.

Today, specifically, I would say how ironic it is that after weeks (months?) of being stood up and cancelled on, I’m actually wishing that my next date(s) would fall through so I can stay home in cozy pajamas. Of course this means that won’t happen. Life’s funny. Ha.

  4. Hula fit sounds fun! I love working out and drink water like it’s going out of style… but I also LOVE coffee. I would be excited to meet you and ask you what your plans for the weekend are. Mine including working out and cleaning the house! (stopping by from the link up!)

Hula fit really does sound fun! I would tell you I want to try it too and that I’m really looking forward to the weekend 🙂

  6. Robbie says:

If we were having coffee, I would tell you to BUY YOUR PAT BENETAR TICKET !

  7. Jen says:

I’d have a cup of tea with you, tell you some funny kid stories, and persuade you to run a race with me.
