WW Check in #13 – Back at it.

That picture has nothing to do with this post. Its just me wearing my bacon tshirt at Baconfest.


So I decided after taking a chunk of the summer off, it was time to get back on the wagon with WW and get my ass in gear. I noted in my list of things to do for the Fall, that I wanted to drop the few pounds I’ve gained back plus an additional 10. And to do this by Thanksgiving/ First week of December. If I stay focused, it’s totally doable. (I like to remind myself here that I’ve actually lost about 12 lbs already.)

I’m looking forward to the challenge but it does mean limiting my treats again, cutting out the wine I’ve been enjoying lately and kicking my own ass at the pool and gym.

Ew sweating. BUT it has to be done.

It’ll be worth it though, I hope. I mean I was putting away bags of flour and sugar the other day (each one 5 lbs) and was reminded that that’s how much I lost before and another 10 lbs would likely feel good too.

Here’s what I hope my activity log will look like this week:

Monday: Easy treadmill time (1 mile plus walking before/after) two private swim lessons to teach and 500-700 yards in the pool.
Tuesday: Easy treadmill time (1.25 miles plus walking before/after), dance class
Wednesday: Teach, 20 min to swim, teach again.
Thursday: 25 min on treadmill (5 min warm up, 2 min slow, 90 seconds faster, repeat 5 times with 60 seconds of polymetrics in between and cool down)
Friday: Maybe yoga.
Saturday:  Swim lessons. If I’m up for it after, I’ll swim.
Sunday: Frank is running a half marathon from what I understand. I’ll go watch and walk around for a while.

I’m lucky, I really am. Frank’s on board with basically whatever I want to do. He doesn’t care if I lose the weight or not so long as I’m happy and healthy about it. You guys are so supportive and I have the tools to use to get this done. Just have to do it!

I still have an ultimate number in mind that I’d like to get to, it’s over 40 lbs still so I’ll be working at it for awhile. I’ll keep you posted!

    I really need to kick my butt back into gear. I have not stepped on the scale, but I can report that my pants still fit the same. I know I haven’t lost anything, but that probably means I haven’t gained anything back (or at least not anything too significant).

    I hate sweating. I know, I know…
