I didn’t check in last week, it just seemed to soon, but I figure if I check in with you guys and get encouragement (when I do well) and virtual ass kicking (when I don’t do as well!) it’ll keep me on track.
There, that’s your mission if you choose to accept it.
I’m not finding WW difficult to stay on right now, some days I have to remember to eat something with points with my zero point foods because otherwise I wake up the next morning ready to eat my own hand off; some days I go over, but try not to worry too much. I’m enjoying some of the experimenting with foods and turning old favorites into more point friendly items. (Peanut Butter and Strawberries on waffles and black bean tacos have been tasty so far). I am curious to know how long it will be before I get bored and have to find a way to challenge myself to stay interested.
I won’t get with the starting numbers, right now I’m too embarrassed…maybe at the end I’ll give you a total loss and what the scale says then and you can do the math yourself.
As of today (April 9th) I’m down 6 lbs and I have 5.2lbs to go before my first goal.
I’m down the following in various measurements (my measuring isn’t scientific, so this should be read as one of those popular opinion polls of +/- a certain amount)
- Arms – 1/2 inch down
- Waist – negligible
- Upper leg – negligible
- Dress/Pants size – same size, but feeling smoother and less tight.
Maybe I’m hallucinating, but I think I see a change in my hands and arms. Seeing the change – even if I’m only seeing it in my mind – is inspiring to keep going.
There you have it. I’ll do another one in two weeks.
If you’re doing WW or another program and would like to check in with guest posts, I welcome you to guest post!
